The Fruita Monument Wildcats won their second tournament in a row winning The Wildcat Invite at Adobe Creek. The Wildcats were lead by two even par rounds of 73 from Junior Josh Stouder and Sophomore Kado Hayward. Josh Stouder won the 2nd place medal by winning a one hole playoff with Kado Hayward with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Once again the Wildcats got balanced scoring from Brayden Kelley and Aden Dangler at 80 and Trigg Hayward at 84. This is the second year in a row the Wildcats have won the Wildcat Invite.
Seniors Tyler Stelljes andJack Vigil carded scores of 92 and 94. Carson Kerr of Grand Junction was the medalist with a fine 3 under score of 70.

The Wildcats return to action on August 22 at they travel to Montrose to play the Cobble Creek golf course.
